Residence il Capricorno

Do you love nature, and do you long for a holiday where you can completely cut yourself off? Forget all the stress and worries at home?  Our beautiful holiday village will give you just that – an unforgettable holiday by the sea.

Our little holiday village “Il Capricorno” is in the heart of the Gargano National Park. The only noise you will hear will be from the goldfinches, the turtle-doves, the hoopoes, the blackcaps, the jays, the wild doves and other kinds of native and migratory birds that nest in the park.

Our cottages, all slightly differently laid out, are set in a botanical park with local flora as well as rare plants imported from all parts of the world.  There are pine trees, oaks, olives, ilexes, palm trees and yuccas of all kinds, and a beautiful orange grove in the middle of the valley.  The cottages, built in the typical local rustic style, are well but simply furnished and have a veranda for eating outdoors.  Each is different, with plenty of space around it, and, as the valley faces East, is very shady and well ventilated.

The private beach is a beautiful, rather exotic bay and very romantic.  It has all the necessary sunbeds and umbrellas with plenty of space between them for maximum privacy.  The whole beach belongs to the village of which it forms an integral part. There is a small bar where you can eat and there are quiet corners for reading under the pine trees or elsewhere in the park.

As the area is large, we also welcome pets so long as they are well trained and kept under control by their owners.

The entire property is a no-car zone but for the beach houses guests.
